Lonely The Brave have confirmed that they’ll be releasing a special extended version of their critically acclaimed debut album: The Day’s War – Victory Edition.
The 2-disc CD, which is set for release on the 1st June, will include a whopping 12 as-yet-unreleased tracks, including 4 brand new songs; pre-orders are available now via the band’s website, which includes an instant download of Backroads (redux).
Talking of the release and the re-interpretations of the tracks, the band say:
“The basic throught process for us was to take the songs apart, and rebuild them in a completely different mindset to how they were originally created. This was one of the most fun and challenging things we have ever done as a band. Songs do not need to be represented by one set context. The feelings and emotions contained within are a living and breathing entity in their own right which should be allowed to develop.”
LTB have also announced a one-off London show for the 3rd June at Tabernacle, which will be a rare opportunity to see the band play stripped back songs and redux tracks from the album! Not only this, but the quintet have also been confirmed as support for Twin Atlantic’s tour in May.
